London Hijinx

We spent three full days doing things in London - though quite a lot of time was taken up with queues and finding workarounds for the tube lines which were closed due to works. We went to Westminster Abbey, did part of a hop on hop off bus tour and popped into the British museum on day one plus saw a political demonstration and did a wander up oxford street.

The next day was the tower, Hamleys, Harrods, the British Library and the globe to see a rather excellent performance of Romeo and Juliet though tbh I was not aware Shakespeare knew the words to the YMCA song but I guess he must have done! We also got caught up in some street party in Regent Street too!

The last London day we popped up the road to Kensington Palace, popped out to see my friend  Bob, went for a wander up Oxford Steet again and did the London Eye before having dinner at the place across from where we were staying!
